    Work in Gangnam

I just entered the platform to catch the subway, but the train has just left.

I’m waiting for the next subway while watching the advertisement.

On the way to work, I encountered a cherry blossom tree. During this season, people flock to see cherry blossom trees in Korea, and there are paths lined with cherry blossom trees all over Korea. Cherry blossoms bloom in white and pink, incredibly beautiful, and when the petals flutter, it’s deeply moving. However, it’s important to note that only for about a week do the white and pink petals bloom, and then they quickly turn into lush green trees.

For today’s lunch, I had jjajangmyeon and kkanpunggi. Jjajangmyeon has a black sauce that’s sweet, savory, and a bit salty, and it’s really delicious. Kkanpunggi seems to be made by frying chicken. I’m not sure how it’s made… Anyway, the kkanpunggi at this place is slightly spicy, and the chicken is very tender.

This is an alley surrounded by typical residential buildings in Korea. Housing complexes in Seoul are densely packed together like this.

    Work in Gangnam

I’m on my way to work in Gangnam this morning. The sky is gloomy. Spring has arrived, and the weather has warmed up considerably, but the shade remains cool.

For lunch today, I had Sundae-guk, a Korean dish. Originally, its color is white, but it was made savory by using salty fermented shrimp sauce, which includes perilla seeds, salt, and very small shrimps.

After a delicious lunch, I’m on my way back to the office. There was sunlight, so I took a photo.
